Generosity is our nature

John 3:16 declares, For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son. The Gospel itself is rooted in the generosity of God, and as His image-bearers (Genesis 1:27), we are called to reflect that same giving nature. Generosity is more than giving money — it is offering our time, resources, and love to bless others. When we give freely, we point others to the One who gave everything for us. This is why we believe generosity is not just something we do — generosity is our nature!

Where Giving Goes

Local outreach

Part of our giving goes to local outreach—supporting ministries in the area, partnering with nearby churches, and helping individuals in our community who are in need of financial assistance.

Global outreach

A portion of our giving goes beyond our borders, supporting the global Church as well as individual ministries that are making a meaningful impact in their local communities.

in-reach

Our giving also extends to support the people within our church community. This can take many forms—providing groceries or financial assistance during tough times, or walking alongside someone on their journey to overcome addiction.

the LEgacy Fund: Leaving a debt-free legacy

The Legacy Fund is Motion Church's designated giving fund for the new church building.
As we move forward as a debt-free church to build our new church building, The Legacy Fund is where we give toward making that vision a reality. Every gift moves us closer to our debt-free inheritance and helps build something that will impact generations to come.

What has been done so far?
Since acquiring our future church home, we’ve already taken significant steps toward preparing the property for what’s ahead.
So far, we have:

  • Painted the exterior of the building
  • Added the Motion Church signage
  • Installed the cross outside
  • Completed interior demolition in preparation for renovation
  • Held two church workdays to clean up and improve the property
  • Removed existing flooring in areas of the building
  • Received multiple professional quotes for a complete roof replacement
  • Applied and followed an extensive process for insurance to help cover the roof, which was denied.

What's Next?: A NEW ROOF
Before we can begin investing in the renovation of the interior, there is one major step that has to come first: replacing the roof.
The existing roof is leaking in multiple areas and needs to be replaced before interior construction can move forward responsibly. We have received multiple quotes and are now working toward the funding needed to take this next major step.
Once the new roof is complete, we can begin moving forward with interior renovations as funds become available.

Latest Update: PHASE 1 FINANCIAL GOAL
We are continuing to move forward toward our new church home, one step at a time!

Our next major step is replacing the roof, which must be completed before renovations can begin inside the building. The roof replacement is estimated at approximately $270,000. Along with other outstanding costs associated with moving the project forward, we have established a Phase One Legacy Fund goal of $320,000.

We are already on our way! Every gift, no matter the size, moves us one step closer.

Once the new roof is complete, we will be able to begin working through the interior renovations as funds become available, steadily transforming this building into our new church home.

Thank you for giving, praying, and believing with us. Together, we are building more than a building. We are building a legacy for generations to come.
